Challenge

Following the release of the new OnePlus 6, we were commissioned to create a campaign to drive awareness and ultimately aid in sales of the latest phone. The campaign was centred around the pop-up events hosted by OnePlus across Europe, where members of the public could be the first to buy the device.

Solution

We took a two-stage approach to this campaign, optimising both awareness and engagement of the OnePlus 6. First, we sent influencers to the pop-up events to create live content across platforms, highlighting the excitement of the public attending and generating a constant online conversation on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.

Following the event, the influencers created original, long-form posts to showcase the OnePlus device, focusing on driving sales. The combination of the live posts on the day of the pop-ups alongside the later viral videos ultimately contributed to the sale of 1 million phones in one month, making the campaign a huge success.
