Why we exist. The Goat Agency was founded in 2015 to help brands leverage the influence of online creators. As one of the OG influencer marketing agencies, we pioneered many of the practices that are still used today.

Social media changed everything. Instead of brands placing themselves at the center of advertising, it became about real people and real stories.
We call it the Human Media Revolution.
Online creators emerged as one of the most powerful forces within the Human Media Revolution. Recognizing this early on, Goat pioneered harnessing creator content in combination with paid media to help brands build influence with niche audiences at scale.

What we’ve built. In 2025, The Goat Agency represents 650 social and influencer experts in 37 markets worldwide. We are globally recognized for our award-winning work, and credited for helping to shape the influencer industry and spearhead the Human Media Revolution.

Now, the idea of human media is so much bigger, faster and more complex. Our capabilities have expanded to reflect this and keep our clients at the forefront of what’s possible.
We were the first influencer marketing agency to run paid media through influencers’ own channels. We were the first to use influencer content within Amazon‘s DSP. We were the first to partner with YouTube on an AI-powered influencer solution. And we’re the only truly globally scaled-up influencer marketing agency in the world, with 650 employees all acting as one unified team.

Our mission. We no longer see ourselves as “just” an influencer marketing agency. Influencer shouldn’t be constrained to one line on a media plan, so our mission is to help brands Influence Everywhere, to continue driving the human media revolution forward, and to empower content creators in all their forms.
Our story

In a cafe in south London, an idea is born… An agency focusing solely on connecting brands with online social media influencers.
The Goat Agency officially opens for business. The mission? To take this new concept of “influencer marketing” and make it truly data and performance driven.

Goat hires its first two official employees, Emily Hall and Frankie Hobbes (they’re still here to this day!)

Goat reaches a 20 person milestone.
We win our first game-changing annual 7-figure client, allowing us to truly scale.

Goat is recognized as Adweek’s fastest growing agency in Europe.

Goat North America officially launches with a Head Office in New York City.
We also launch our hugely popular and influential “Goat Vlog” giving people a glimpse into daily life at a rapidly scaling influencer marketing agency.

Covid19 hits. We pivot. We make the first tv ad for clients using creator content. We move to remote-first and come back stronger than ever.

Our global reach expands with campaigns touching 70 countries and 38 languages.
The North America team grows significantly, reaching over 50 employees across the United States.

Despite the challenges of Covid-19, Goat experiences 40% YoY revenue growth and our global headcount hits 200.

Goat becomes part of WPP in a record-breaking acquisition allowing us to scale and quickly tap into the vast WPP network.

We move into our new Global HQs in London and New York City (the team are most excited by the rooftop bar views!).
We launch into more markets including Portugal and Brazil, and our Nordic region experiences impressive growth.
In partnership with Amazon, we become the first influencer agency to place influencer content in targeted ads across the Amazon DSP

We strengthen our ties with TikTok, Google and YouTube, launching innovative partnerships and leveraging AI to speed up influencer processes.
Goat is a finalist for Campaign’s Global Social Media Agency of the Year for the third year running.
