Launching Heineken's Rum Stripe
The Goat Agency partnered with Heineken to deliver an impactful influencer-led launch for Rum Stripe, their much-anticipated RTD cocktail rooted in Caribbean culture and inner-city music scenes. To embed the brand in the culture it represents, Goat transformed a traditional London corner shop into a party venue with a dance floor, DJ booth, and fridges stocked with Rum Stripe and Red Stripe, capturing the brand’s urban-Caribbean aesthetic. The event welcomed over 100 creators, artists, and media, featuring performances from UK grime and dance heavyweights D Double E, Sir Spyro, and Tiffany Calver.

Why influencer marketing works for food and beverage brands
Social media platforms like Instagram and TikTok have become essential for food and beverage advertisement, thanks to their highly visual and engaging formats. From quick recipe videos to carefully curated charcuterie boards, food content thrives in these environments, captivating millions of users.
In this landscape, influencer marketing plays a pivotal role. Influencers have cultivated loyal followings built on trust. When they share a favourite snack, drink, or recipe, their audience listens – often treating these recommendations more like advice from a friend than a business entity.
For brands, this creates a unique opportunity. By teaming up with influencers who genuinely reflect their identity and appeal to their ideal customer, food and beverage brands can break through the noise with content that feels real and relatable. The result is not just a broader reach, but deeper engagement from the audiences that matter most.
